(I realize that this blog is about my trials and successes as an cycling epileptic, blah blah blah, play me a tiny violin, this is also my personal forum.)

bikefunfinderI’d like to take a moment to introduce you to Bike Fun Finder. It’s a mobile app, homegrown here in Portland, OR by a few friends of mine.

(And the fact that they’re friends doesn’t mean anything. I just wouldn’t be posting about it, if I thought it was crap.)

So it’s available worldwide. Currently just for Android, but will be on the Apple store in the new day or two, so keep checking back.

And you know what’s cool?

If you miss the beginning of the ride and someone is tracking it, you can “live” track it to find out where the ride is. I don’t exactly know how that works, but apparently it does, because I clicked on one such ride that said Yes on “tracking” and instead of bringing up the map of the start location is shot me a couple miles away.

I hope it’s not sending me to my early demise.

You can read an interview the creators did on BikePortland.
